What’s NewNew Web Width & Sleeve Measurement System BST has introduced a new web width measuring system, used for monitoring the finished lay flat size of all kinds of sleeves in a production environment.
The system uses a high resolution CCD camera to read and measure web edges up to 600 mm to a tolerance of +/- 0.1mm. The interface provides a continuous graphic display of both the actual measured web width and the desired quality thresholds, providing a very effective means to measure to monitor finished lay flat sleeve size. A unique filter on both the camera and light source allows the system to easy see a wide variety of flexible substrates with no set-up.
